ITB and tensor facia latate aid in the stability of the hip, femur and the tibia during weight bearing activities. This gives rise to ITB syndrome a condition commonly known as ‘runners knee’. Over use, excessive foot pronation or eccentric loading (running down hill) causes friction between ITB and the lateral epicondyle of the femur leading to inflammation and lateral knee pain.

Caroline is very knowledgeable and understanding. I didnt think there was any hope for me after my accident as that is what all the physios and doctors said, but Caroline has shown that I can get better and improve, which I am doing all the time. If you are considering seeing her then you should as she is honest and will say if she doesnt think she can help.   Derek B
