Si Joint Dysfunction

Si joint picture

SI Joint works as a shock absorber with a small amount of rotary movement available at the joint in conjunction with the pubis symphysis. This allows the vertebral column to remain relatively still as we walk. If this joint movement is restricted the lumbar junction will compensate, putting strain on the lower back. SI Joint dysfunction is usually associated with excessive anterior tilt (forward tilt of the hips)

Caroline is very knowledgeable and understanding. I didnt think there was any hope for me after my accident as that is what all the physios and doctors said, but Caroline has shown that I can get better and improve, which I am doing all the time. If you are considering seeing her then you should as she is honest and will say if she doesnt think she can help.   Derek B
